About Genesis Glass Tinting
Genesis Glass Tinting has been professionally installing window film
in Northern San Diego and Riverside Counties for over 17 years with a
commitment to the highest quality workmanship, service, and
professionalism in the window film industry. We specialize in
the following areas: Automotive, Residential, Commercial,
Anti-Graffiti, and Safety/Security Tinting. We are licensed,
bonded and insured in the State of California. We are
not just "another window tinting company", we are window tinting
craftsmen, we take our time to do your job right. We don't try
to "slam" 10-15 jobs a day, we believe in "quality not quantity".
We also are not the cheapest shop out there, nor are we the most
expensive, we believe in charging a reasonable price for the quality
and care that we provide. The old saying goes, "you get what you
pay for", and a cheap price doesn't mean a good job. We are a
company that cares about it's customers whether you have a Mercedes or
a Hyundai, a condo or a mansion, a small retail store or a huge
manufacturing plant. We also provide mobile service for
your convenience. You don't have to worry about taking off from
work, arranging rides or sitting in a shop for 2-4 hours. Here
is some ways we differ from the competition:
- Door Panel Removal - As a rule, we remove door panels,
this is the best way to get the film to within 1/16"
of the top edge
and below the bottom seal. Some companies will say that's not
necessary, that they have ways around it. But, you can't argue
the fact that a window that doesn't have that bottom seal in the way
is easier to tint than one that does. If you agree with that,
then you have to agree that a window that is easier to tint is more
likely to turn out better than one that isn't as easy to tint.
If you are able to get the film on quicker and easier there is much
less chance of contamination and creases.
- File Edging or Beveling - On cars that have frameless
doors, such as Mustangs, Camaro's and Corvette's, we can take the film
all the way up and bevel the film to the glass so there are no gaps.
- Dot Matrix - On some 2 door cars such as Accords,
Mustangs, Integra's, and RSX's, there is a 5-6 inch
rows of dots called dot matrix. These dots are painted on
ceramic enamel that are raised off of the glass, so when we tint
over those dots, there are air pockets created, which gives an
unattractive appearance. What we do is apply black vinyl to
the dot matrix area and since vinyl is thinner than tint, it goes
over a lot better.
- Rear Windows - For curved rear windows, we use the latest
one piece techniques including heat shrinking, which allows us to
tint windows in one piece which previously required two or more
pieces. For windows that are extremely curved, and when seams are
necessary, we accurately line up up the seams to the defroster,
giving the illusion of one piece.
- Workmanship - Remember, a good tint job is both quality
film and quality workmanship, we use top quality
window film because it's not a question of what you put on, but how
it's put on. At Genesis Glass Tinting our methods of application
are at the top of the industry. Also, make sure you
are getting a good quality film, which comes with a lifetime
warranty from the manufacturer, not just the tint shop.
- Drop Cloths and Towels - We cover up our work area in
your vehicle or house with drop cloths and/or towels to protect your
job. We treat your vehicle or house as if it was our own.
About Our Window Films
As
a leader in both adhesive and film technologies, LLumar brings
together these disciplines to create the finest products available for
residential, commercial, government and automotive use. LLumar Window
Films provide an elegant, yet practical means for solving many of the
most challenging aspects of managing sun control and security issues
surrounding the use of your home, car or business.
Our films reduce up to 99 percent of the sun's ultraviolet rays,
reject up to 79 percent of the solar heat that may otherwise come
through a window. They also help reduce winter heat loss by reflecting
up to 35 percent of indoor heat back into the room. You will find our
films are also easy on the eyes. On the outside, they give your home,
car or business a more pleasing, unified look. On the inside, our
films provide glare reduction for you and others.
Our Sun Control Films save energy, as well as helping to protect your
furnishings, drapes, carpet, woodwork and artwork from destructive
ultraviolet rays that cause fading. Our Safety and Security Films
provide fragment retention by holding glass together during
destructive weather, smash and grab crimes or acts of terrorism. They
help to seal out the water, the primary cause of property damage; and
have a toughness that allows these films to withstand day-to-day
abuse.
